Our residents and staff look forward to welcoming you to our community.
My name is Jenny Horn and I may seem familiar from many years in the local Real Estate industry.
As they say, seasons change and so do we and with that, I was seeking a new challenge. With 4 years' experience in the Retirement sector under my belt, accepting a position with The Oak Tree Group seemed a natural progression.
Originally from South Africa, we emigrated to Australia in 1997 and moved to Emu Park in 2004 and love the area.
I have a friendly, nurturing nature and I am passionate about working with the older community, which has seen me forge many friendships both professionally and personally.
My aim is to help my clients make their transition from moving out of the family home to Oak Tree Retirement Village as stress-free as possible, leaving them smiling the same way chocolates put a smile on my face.
“One of the finest compliments we can receive is referrals from clients and friends“
I enjoy charity work and have organised several events such as the Pink Lady morning tea, Golf Day for Ride To Conquer Cancer and several other organisations but still find time to indulge in gardening and going to the gym.
Oak Tree Retirement Village Park Avenue is situated at 155-157 Glenmore Road, Park Avenue and sits along a palm tree lined streetscape in a quiet neighbourhood which enjoys a pleasant blend of coastal and rural landscapes.
Only minutes north of the heart of Rockhampton City and 40 minutes from Yeppoon’s beaches Oak Tree is central to everything. Near by are local shopping centres, medical facilities, golf clubs, bowls clubs and several social clubs to choose from. Oak Tree Park Avenue is a cosy neighbourhood of its own.
