Robyn was the very first resident of the village and has now called Oak Tree Taylor Street home for six years! Reflecting on her journey, she says, “I’ve seen the village grow from the ground up into the beautiful community it is today.”

Her decision to move to Oak Tree came at a pivotal time in her life. “I had just gone through a marriage breakup and was looking for somewhere to settle down,” Robyn recalls. “I was initially drawn to the look of the villas and hadn’t really given much thought to the idea of being part of a community.” But once she settled in, she quickly discovered how much it enhanced her lifestyle.

“There was a moment when I considered buying a regular unit in town, but I feel so grateful that I chose Oak Tree instead,” Robyn shares. “You can be as involved as much or as little as you like. It’s lovely to have people around to do nice things together, but there’s no pressure.”

Robyn stays active within the village and beyond. “I exercise every day and look after my grandchildren after school,” she says proudly. The flexibility of the Oak Tree lifestyle has allowed her to strike the perfect balance between independence and community connection.

One of the aspects she treasures most is the ease of living. “The best part is having all the maintenance and gardening taken care of,” Robyn explains. “If something goes wrong, there’s always someone to fix it.” For someone who enjoys a bit of travel, the peace of mind is invaluable. “It’s so reassuring to know that if I want to lock up and leave, there’s always someone here keeping an eye on things.”

For Robyn, Oak Tree is so much more than just a place to live – it’s the priceless feeling of security and being embraced by a community. “It’s wonderful living here. The sense of safety and the supportive environment make all the difference.”
