Kingston's Open Day Brings In The Crowds
What a weekend we had as Oak Tree Retirement Village Kingston opened its doors to the brand new community centre for the first time.
Just as early as the gates swung open, the crowds rolled in, everyone wanting to see what the new village facilities, including bowling green, had in store for them.
And were they impressed? We think so!
Impressed by the spaciousness of the community centre and its functionality, residents and new comers commented on what a great facility this was for a social event, or even a quiet read of the paper in front of the cosy fire place.
Crowds were greeted by the Village Manager, Greg Rayment, along with many other Oak Tree staff members who had travelled to Hobart to help out on what was sure to be a busy weekend.
A brand new villa was open for display with several people expressing keen interest.
Now that our village community centre is complete - we now set our focus on building stage 5.
