Christmas fun in Kingston
Whilst the temperatures in Hobart certainly dropped over Christmas and New Year's we did enjoy one real day of summer when temperatures were at 37 degrees - and it just so happened to be the day we held our Christmas drinks in the village.
To celebrate the festive season residents turned the car port of villa 5 into a "party zone" and set up nibbles and drinks all around. Residents showed up in fine form, dressed in Christmas attire and full of the fun that Christmas undoubtedly brings.
The 37 degree heat didn’t dampen the spirits of our residents , friends or pets but the air conditioned Community Centre will certainly be appreciated next year!
All is safe and well here in our Kingston village - residents have enjoyed their Christmas break and life is slowly starting to return to normal.
