Jaime Blay, Village Sales
I have long-running and deep connections with the broader community and you may recognise me by my many years of service at the local medical centres in Goondiwindi, the Produce and Saddlery store, or from my involvement in the equestrian community.
I have called Goondiwindi home for 10 years with my 2 sons now aged 20 and 17. My children have been educated at the Goondiwindi State High School and have grown up in the local community.
My family has been in the racing industry for near on 100 years with my grandfather having been a jockey and my father being a race horse trainer for 57 years. I am very passionate about the equine industry. This has led me to becoming a member of our local but small Yarrill Creek Pony Club.
I enjoy and understand the country way of life and I believe this is what connects me to my community.
Oak Tree’s commitment to servicing regional towns and cities is inspiring, giving locals the chance to retire comfortably and stay in the area they know and love.
I welcome you to visit me at the village and become familiarised with our product offering.
Marian Doyle, Village Manager
I would like to introduce myself, my name is Marian Doyle and I'm proud to be the Village Manager at Oak Tree Retirement Village Goondiwindi.
I was born in Goondiwindi but lived much of my childhood and early adult life across the boarder in NSW. I started my working career in retail, then administration, and later came ‘home' to Goondiwindi some 35 years ago where I have happily settled ever since.
Goondiwindi has a rich family culture and a community spirit which is second to none. I am involved locally in the community as Secretary for the Goondiwindi Performing Arts Inc and can easily attest Goondiwindi has become the town I know and love. It is a friendly and great place to live and to retire. This is what excites me most about my role with Oak Tree.
As I have, you'll find the Oak Tree team are a friendly, informative and helpful group of people with a professional manner. They are passionate about making retirement accommodation available to seniors in rural areas and helping to keep communities together. I've had the pleasure of visiting several villages and experiencing their happy ambience.
I look forward to welcoming new residents to Oak Tree Goondiwindi and helping them assimilate into their new life with all of the wonderful benefits of Oak Tree living.
