Boronia's flora & fauna
The warm weather has brought out some interesting fauna at Oak Tree Boronia Heights.
This is small goanna about 600mm long - we've nicknamed him Gumby. Gumby has been hanging around the village, occasionally sunning himself on the bowls green or on a rock wall.
There are plenty of other lizards seen scooting through.
We’ve even had a green tree frog take up residence in the mailboxes. He likes to move from mailbox to mailbox and has been known to surprise and delight each resident when they discover him.
As you’d expect, there are plenty of birds about the village putting on a pretty show too. They’re just a little bit quick to get a photo of.
This is great to see - not only does it show how lush and healthy our grounds are but it also proves the point that Oak Tree is such a great place to live, even the animals make themselves right at home!
