We hosted our official grand opening for the newly acquired Toowoomba village over the weekend. Many of our head office staff and the Creer team based themselves in Toowoomba for a few days to provide locals the opportunity of viewing the villas, our proposed community facilities now under construction as well as meeting the team and gaining insight into what makes Oak Tree tick. Our staff and the Creer team deserve praise for dedicating themselves to a non-stop effort over 3 days.
The feedback from people viewing the village for the first time was overwhelmingly positive – the location is well regarded – a flat elevated location on the southern side of Toowoomba. We managed to dodge a number of storms over the few days which allowed people to visit all weekend.
Our aim at these events is to present the the full package of what this lifestyle offers. Granted, the lifestyle is not for everyone but increasingly in Australia, literally thousands of people are seeing this lifestyle choice as offering great benefits to life beyond 55. Whilst the villas themselves are critically important for people, our visitors over the weekend were very interested in the opportunities provided through a maintenance-free lifestyle. It’s a big decision for people to undertake and we do our best to provide as much support as we can through our staff along the way. Downsizing and moving after many years in one spot can be daunting – we’ll do our best to assist you each step of the way.
Toowoomba is just one Oak Tree location where the opportunities provided through this lifestyle are available – take a look around the website or call us to make an appointment or request information on our villages. It costs nothing to ask.
This weekend sees the new release of the next stages at our Kingston village in Tasmania with a new section of road almost complete. The Open Day will also showcase illustrations of our community facilities which we hope to commence in the next few months. With arguably the best vista of all of our villages overlooking the iconic Mount Wellington, the day will no doubt be a great success. Marco, Greg and the team will be delighted to show you around so come for a bite to eat, a cup of tea and a wander around.
We’ve started pushing dirt around in Cardiff (Newcastle) in the last week – we are extremely excited about this project as enquiry has been “off the dial.” On March 14th we are hosting an information morning at the Cardiff RSL – we’d love to see you there. Busy times….
Until next time,
