No rest for the wicked

Half we through October already! I was asked what we are doing for our office Christmas party the other day and I looked back at them blankly – I had not even thought about it until then. Who has time to think about Christmas yet? And Christmas decorations are out in stores already! My four year old cousin saw the decorations in Myer back in August and straight away asked – “can we go and see Santa now?” Crazy! When a lot of companies start to slowly wind things down for year’s end as we lead into November and December, this is never the case for Oak Tree. We do just the opposite. In fact, we ramp up for what is usually our busiest season for new leads and sales.

The marketing department has been heads down and bums up in major planning and coordination mode as we roll out open days across the country. It’s exciting times this week in particular  as we look forward to this weekend when we will host our first open day at our newest village, and our first village on Brisbane’s north side, at Burpengary – 118 Pitt Rd. This lovely leafy village is Oak Tree’s newest acquisition and currently has six villas up for sale from an affordable $220,000.  Open to the public, visitors can come by to the village either Saturday from 9.30am – 3 pm  or on Sunday from 10am – 1 pm.  It is a great opportunity to meet the Village Manager, John, and our Sales Manager Jan. As well as plenty of other Oak Tree staff and residents.

Even if you have been to the village before there is plenty new to see. We have furnished a brand new display villa in this season’s summery colours, and some works have commenced on the community centre extensions. If that doesn’t tempt you – a free BBQ lunch usually does!

Open days are also occurring this weekend at our Toowoomba village but before that we have an open day at Goodna on Thursday and Boronia Heights on Friday. As you can see, life is never dull in the marketing department! And Santa will be here before we know it!
