Never a dull moment!

Well, as always it has been another busy week at Oak Tree.

Home from my trip to Kingston last week it was then a quick dash off to the Burpengary Open Day weekend where we had a good turn out of people who came to see the village and all it has to offer. Sadly, stage 4 was not open to view as construction is a little behind due to unforeseen factors – still, spirits were still high and excitement is stirring with the new homes popping out of the dirt. We have had lots of interest in stage 4 and deposits have already been paid on a couple of lovely villas. Keen buyers eventually convinced us to take them on a little sneak peak late Sunday afternoon and it was as Jan (our bubbly Sales Manager) was changing into her gumboots (so as to avoid the mud) that she noticed she was wearing two right foot shoes. A tad embarrassed she wondered if she should admit to her blunder, but couldn’t help but see the funny side and told us her story. Turns out, like many women…when Jan likes a pair of shoes she buys two pairs exactly the same. Somehow they got mixed up in the cupboard and she didn’t even realise when she put them on in the morning! What a laugh! Thanks Jan. I’m still laughing about it! Just goes to show how busy things have been!

Today I’m off to set up the display villa at Boronia Heights. It is always a bit of a challenge to get our displays set up but they make a drastic difference when touring people through our homes. The Boronia Heights display will be set up and ready to go for the up coming open day on the 12th of April. ┬áIf you are in the area, please stop by for a look and let me know what you think!

Until next time

Tarin.
