Italy comes to Oak Tree

Buona Giornata or Good Day!

This week I had the opportunity to spend time with over 140 seniors from Warwick and Brisbane who joined us at our Warwick Villages for the annual Italian Luncheon.

Franco’s mother Anna De Pasquale, who is Secretary of the Brisbane Piedmontese Club, was the menu co-coordinator for the event and her minestrone soup was bellisimo!

Guests were entertained during their meal by an instrumental ensemble from the Brisbane Piedmontese Club, who played traditional Italian music on accordion and guitar.

These annual events are an opportunity for us to interact in a social environment with residents and visitors.  They also provide the perfect platform for an informal tour of our facilities for those interested in joining us in the village on a permanent basis.

Events are hosted at all of our villages and often themed, so be sure to check your local village for upcoming events.

See you next time,

Melissa.
