Director’s Blog – July 2012

Well it’s been a busy month at Oak Tree with Open Days in all villages around the country. Open Days provide my partners and I as well as our staff a great opportunity to catch up with residents as well as showing off our villages to people considering a move to the Oak Tree lifestyle.

With a village in Cairns in northern QLD all the way to Kingston in Tasmania, we get to experience a wide range of weather conditions this time of year whilst travelling around the villages. Just last week we woke to a blanket of white frost in our Warwick village – a beautiful clear winter’s day greeted people coming to inspect our village and we welcomed some  new folks to our growing community up there.

Our Yeppoon village is almost sold out – Yeppoon has a wonderful climate and is a great place to live. We have some exciting news for Yeppoon which we’ll divulge in the coming weeks.

We have some villas available at our Skye (Vic), Boronia Heights (QLD) and Goodna (QLD) villages. These villages have previously sold out and some preloved villas are now available. They won’t last long so be quick.

Tasmania is always a lovely place to visit despite it being a bit cold at the moment. We have had a number of residents move in over the last few weeks and now our focus is to get some more villas built for new residents to inspect.

Cairns this time of year is amazing – still warm enough to enjoy the great outdoors without regular rainfall. The village looks amazing at present with our landscaped gardens at their absolute best. The residents up there are never short of something to do – call in and see us when you can.

Oak Tree really does offer a great lifestyle alternative wherever home is for you. Our villages are active, vibrant and very comfortable. We take care of the maintenance so you have more time to enjoy life and relax.

Feel free to browse the web site to learn more about what our world offers.

Kind Regards

Mark.
