About 40 people came and participated in an information day held at the Cardiff RSL club last Thursday. Oak Tree and Creer Retirement had staff on hand to deal with the many enquiries about the project now underway. We had artist impressions of the community facilities and villas on hand as well as a fresh new brochure to outline the key elements of the project.
Several people have now paid deposits for villas in stage 1 which will be available to move into in June this year. We are planning a Grand Opening day in late June to show case the release of the first stage of the village. We will keep you informed of details but in the meantime, if you have queries, please contact Kellie who can provide all of the relevant information on floor plans and village facilities.
Jenny, with some help from husband James, as well as Gary and Christy from head office, hosted the annual Oak Tree Fishing Classic at the Warwick Village. Some 40 or so keen anglers showed up to compete for a heap of prizes. Sid from villa 3 had the first catch of the day and what a beauty it was! It was a great day for residents, grandchildren and family members to enjoy the sunshine and each other’s company. Some managed to enjoy the fish with a lot more caught this year than last year. I should also thank Mel who was unable to attend, for all her work in getting the event off the ground. It is the second time we have hosted this event and it is sure to continue to feature as an annual event moving forward.
Whatever your interests in life, Oak Tree can provide a carefree environment to help you carry these on or learn new and exciting activities you may not have contemplated before. It just takes a phone call and an exclusive tour of our village with our staff to get a glimpse of a totally new lifestyle that’s out there, and one that thousands around the country are enjoying right now.
We’d love to hear from you.
