It’s that time again for my construction blog – may I firstly say how much has changed since the last time. We have some changes in the construction department. Gary Cox is no longer with us. He has decided to take up fishing full time and gone into semi-retirement (half his luck). The new member that has joined is Leonardo Torti who comes from an architectural and development background and he has been a huge help since Gary’s departure.
On the construction front we have finally started to push some dirt around in Orange, Armidale, Tamworth and Townsville, and we are about to start a few more projects this year. In turn I am finding that sleep is now a luxury as I don’t seem to get very much these days. The 3am starts seem to be happening quite often lately. Life is very exciting at the moment, the community centre in Kingston Hobart is finally complete and looks fantastic with a great view of the snow-capped Mt Wellington, the community centre in Yeppoon is progressing well and should be complete by the end of June, we are just in the process of completing 10 villas in Burpengary and about to start another 4 in Cairns.
I have just put a photo of my family in my wallet just in case I forget what they look like! There will be a lot of travel required to ensure all of our projects progress in a timely manner, so I will be back next week hopefully with a little more sleep than this week.
Bye for now.
