Yeppoon gets pretty in pink
In support of Breast Cancer research, Oak Tree Yeppoon residents dressed up pretty in pink for the fundraising campaign that sweeps the nation - Breast Ever Brunch raising awareness of, and money for, Breast Cancer cures.
With 35 residents in attendance, and all dressed in pink for the occasion, we managed to raise $240 for the cause.
Great effort went into preparing lovely little pink treats and tarts for morning tea, decorating the tables and community centre in pink - even all of the raffle prizes were wrapped in pink paper.
Special thanks to everyone who attended and donated. And special thanks to Robyn from the Park Avenue village who came to join us, and Jenny, our former Warwick Village Manager who came to join in the fun also.
Great job all.
