Building a second henhouse
Warwick builds a second hen house
Oak Tree Warwick's chooks have been such a hit that the village social club decided to purchase another "Taj Mahl" to sit alongside the current one.
The residents initially were hesitant to take on this project but once convinced they have all gone "cook hoo" naming their girls, Fanny and May (to name a few) they have set up a roster for feeding their chooks scrapes, cleaning out the pen and coop and collecting the eggs.
Quita is in charge of egg sales to residents, friends and family in Warwick and with 9 chickens laying everyday the sale of eggs are rapidly paying all the costs with the view to eventually making a profit for their social club.
