Our special Easter Bunny - Sharon
Easter Treats in Toowoomba
The friendliest little Easter bunny paid a visit to Oak Tree Toowoomba these Easter holidays, and she looked strangely like our Village Manager Sharon!
Dressed in her little pink jumpsuit with bunny ears and a bushy tail to match, off she drove in her golf buggy delivering good cheer and all things chocolate on Easter.
Rex and Marlene had their grandchildren visiting who were enthralled that the easter bunny was visiting Nan's - all tiny hands were in the basket pulling out mouthfuls of colourful Easter yummies and before long the village was filled with smiles and laughter (perhaps at Sharon's expense) all round.
To spoil us even more it was off to the community centre for a special morning tea filled with Easter excitement.
Proving you are never to old to have some fun on Easter, the residents participated in a colouring in competition - a bunny and his eggs. Ironically the winner was chosen by vision impaired Alan - the residents enjoying the humour as their colouring in skills (or lack there of) were put to test. Alan had a great laugh and picked the most colourful!
But it's not Easter without an egg hunt - and boy can our residents move fast when their is unclaimed chocolate at stake!
It was a fun morning had by all.
