Activities Galore at OT Toowoomba
Busy, busy, busy we are here at Oak Tree Toowoomba. Residents in this neck of the woods are a social lot.
Friday night was our regular fish and chip night, what a crowd we had. Young and old were in attendance as Village Manager Sharon was on babysitting duties which meant went the grand kids who whilst having a ball also themselves, also added entertainment for the residents.
On Saturday we then loaded up two cars as residents headed out to the Jondaryan Wool Shed for the Jackie Howe Festival.
A full day of activities was enjoyed by all, even a horse and cart ride drivenb by Toowoomba Oaktree Resident Ken Mills.
Several residents not to be out done by the younger crowd had their faces painted for some extra fun.
Back to the village and on Sunday morning a barbie breakfast was enjoyed by residents.
Well that’s it until next week’s adventures.
