24th of August 2007 – Skye Retirement Village Underway

Local and State Members joined Oak Tree Retirement Villages to witness a ground breaking ceremony to celebrate the commencement of construction of the 52 villa retirement village at McCormicks Road, Skye in Victoria.

Frankston City Council Cr Glenn Aitken and State Member for Cranbourne Mr Jude Perera agreed that the facility will fulfil a great need for more variety in accommodation for the aged.

2nd of August 2007 – Construction Commences on Park Avenue Village

Oak Tree Retirement Villages turned the first sod at a commencement ceremony to officially start the construction of the 43 villa Oak Tree Retirement Village located at the Cnr of Macalister St and Glenmore Road in Park Avenue, Rockhampton, Queensland.

Oak Tree Retirement Villages – Park Avenue is owned and operated by Oak Tree Retirement Villages. Upon practical completion and sell down of all units the village is ear-marked to be included in Oak Tree’s joint venture partnership with ING Real Estate Community Living Fund.

20th of July 2007 – Sod turns for Boronia Heights Village

Logan City Mayor and Councillors joined Oak Tree Retirement Villages for a ground breaking ceremony to celebrate the commencement of construction of the 45 villa Retirement Village located at the Cnr of Middle Road and Punjab Place, Boronia Heights, Queensland.

The village was awarded support from council to service the growing demand for quality and affordable accommodation for seniors in the area.

“This Oak Tree development will provide brand new homes for those wanting to downsize and remain independent for as long as they can throughout their retirement years,” said Cr Lynne Clarke

18th of May 2007 – Goodna Retirement Village Display Villas Open

State Member for Bundamba Mrs Jo-Ann Miller, today voiced her support for the Oak Tree Retirement Village at 82 Brennan St, Goodna as it nears completion and opens its sales office and display villas to the public.

The 69 one and two bedroom villa village is a project Mrs Miller has actively followed since the idea originated helping to convince Oak Tree developers that Goodna was the place to build this quality accommodation village for seniors.
