Goondiwindi Grand Opening
Oak Tree's Goondiwindi Retirement Village opened its doors to the public for this first time on the weekend hosting its Grand Opening and official ribbon cutting ceremony.
The two day event saw some 300 people through the village and the unveiling of the former RSL building which has been transformed into the Village Community Centre and social hub.
Mayor Graham Scheu attended the event for the official proceedings, cutting the ribbon and announcing the centre and village open after long awaited anticipation.
With little other independent living accommodation of its kind in town, record crowds were expected at the event and the Oak Tree team was bolstered up by head office staff, Village Managers from near and afar and Management staff to ensure there were enough hands on deck to service the enquiries.
Visitors to the village were very impressed by the quality of villas on offer, along with the refurbished community centre and swimming pool.
From an affordable $250,000, villas offer modern, open plan, independent living which allow residents to live comfortably now, and well into their retirement years, whilst enjoying a wide variety of lifestyle benefits.

Displays are now open Monday - Friday from 10am- 2pm.
