Conquering Europe - Pam & Trevor (Park Avenue)

"One of the best things about living at Oak Tree Retirement Village is we can go away on a holiday and not have a worry in the world about leaving our home behind," said resident Trevor Dunnett and partner Pam Shanahan.

Travelling to England, Ireland, Scotland, Greece, Italy and France the pair had an eight week long memorable adventure squeezing in as many sights as they possibly could.

"It's something we always wanted to do and now seemed as good as time as any," said Trevor.

Like everyone who has ever travelled abroard before there were a few crazy toilet stories to share upon their return not to mention a few glitches with accommodation.

"We both had a go at wrecking our hotel rooms - we pulled down the shower rails - by accident of course!"

The pair enjoyed great wine and food and marvelled at the magnificant sights whereever they went.

"We had a marvelous time but there really is no place like home is there?" said Trevor upon his return.
