A busy week in Cairns
Last week was a very busy time at Oak Tree Cairns. It started with lawn bowls on Monday afternoon with Neil, Terry and Fran.
After our Wednesday community morning tea gathering it was Carmel’s turn to nurture her students in the afternoon art class. Here aspiring Picasso’s work away on their creations which are to be displayed in an upcoming art exhibition in our community centre on the last weekend in November.
The week finished off with a very successful monster garage sale which was well organised with the hard work of Lynn, Gloria and Lorraine.
Work has just commenced on six new villas which should be completed by October. The village has open days on 3 and 4 July.
