Boronia Resident's Canadian Advenure
One of the best things about living at Oak Tree Boronia Heights is the freedom you have to go on holidays and know that your home is safe and left in good hands whilst you're away. And that is exactly what residents John and Pat thought when they packed up and joined an APT bus and cruise trip through Canada for three weeks.
Like any traveller their aim was to squeeze in as much as they had time for and by the sounds of things they certainly covered some great territory - from stretched limo rides in Victoria, relaxed breakfasts in Buchart Gardens, horse and carriage rides through city streets, glorious views at Lake Louise, snowy capped mountains and up close and personal encounters with glaciers. Cap that off with more exploring through Vancouver, Whistler, Jasper it is fair to say this pair made the most of every moment - and so they should.
We love it when our residents travel to interesting parts of the world and come back to share their tales. It is fantastic to see our residents off on adventures and enjoying themselves - afterall - this is the time to do it. But as happy as we always are to wave goodbye and wish them well, we love welcoming them home to Oak Tree too. Their cat, Webster, was also extremely pleased to have them back home!
Thanks for sharing your pictures with us John and Pat. We are so happy you had a marvellous time.
