With road works on Ploughmans Lane nearing completion, visitors to Oak Tree Retirement Village Orange will now access the village through the front entry for the first time since construction started. For the team at Oak Tree it’s an exciting opportunity to reveal one of the groups’ newest villages. Gates will open at 9am on 13th and 14th May, with villas open for view until 1pm each day. A great opportunity to come and meet the Oak Tree team and join us for a cup of hot soup before viewing the villas.
Stage One and Two are almost sold out and sales interest in Stage Three is building as construction moves forward and as recreational facilities commence. The recreation facilities will become the social hub within the village and will include a community centre complete with a consulting room, hair salon and lounge areas. Externally there will be a bowling green, croquet lawn and a barbeque area for entertaining.
Additionally, following a recent collaboration between Oak Tree and INS LifeGuard, all of our villas will be fitted with the INS LifeGuard SmartHome IP Dialler. This is a 24 hour personalised emergency call system giving residents contact to qualified nursing staff when required. All INS LifeGuard nursing staff are experienced in assessing emergency situations and providing appropriate response to the needs of the resident, including contacting medical services and the family. Oak Tree are proud to be providing the first twelve months monitoring free for all residents moving into the village. This is an exciting addition to the villas, providing residents and their families with the peace of mind that comes from knowing someone is always there to care for their loved ones.
Until next time,
Mark Bindon – CEO
