A bit about me...
I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Kate Pigram and I’m proud to be the Village Manager for Oak Tree Retirement Village Armidale and the New England Area Manager for Armidale, Tamworth and Gunnedah.
My family have called Armidale home since 1967 and I have grown up understanding life in the bush.
Believing Armidale to be a City offering diverse opportunity my family put me through school locally and I continued my tertiary qualifications at UNE (University of New England).
My working career commenced at St. Albert’s College in Armidale where in time I was appointed Dean of the Collage. I have had the pleasure of being a part of this Residential College community since 1988. I have come to know many local residents and community groups giving me vast experience and connections with a diverse range of people.
Married with six children, aged 5-21, life is busy! I remain actively involved in Parents & Friends committees, Rugby, Netball and Swimming Clubs as well as local Church Finance and Property Committees.
I believe Armidale is a wonderful regional city with such a diverse range of people. My family are privileged to have had the opportunity to grow up here and now I’m excited to be helping people to retire here.
Oak Tree’s commitment to servicing regional towns is inspiring, giving locals the opportunity to retire comfortably and stay in the area they know and love. I look forward to welcoming residents to Oak Tree and watching The Group expand across the region.
