Oak Tree went to AgQuip
Our friendly team from New England, Village Manager Rod Sawtell and Area Manager Kate Pigram, represented Oak Tree Tamworth, Armidale, Gunnedah and the entire portfolio of Oak Tree Villages at the recent AgQuip Agricultural farm field day held in Gunnedah recently.
The exhibitors showcased their finest products from the big (such as Silos and Tractors), to the small (such as leather purses and all things home grown). It is a one stop shop for all things primary industry, plus lots lots more.
Staying true to its roots, boosting the local economy and supporting local business, people and innovation, AgQuip is a prestigious event Oak Tree was very proud to be a part of.
“Not only is an wonderful opportunity to meet new people but it brings everyone together to learn about what’s on offer in regional Australia, without the need to go to the bigger cities," said Kate.
“The event is free and there is literally thousands of things to peruse – you can waste hours here!
“Being part of AgQuip allows us to become further integrated into the local community, let people know who and where we are, meet other businesses and gain further knowledge and feedback from real people on how we can better improve what we do.”
So successful was the event, Oak Tree is already looking forward to participating again next year.
