Aloha was on everyone’s lips and the scent of fresh frangipanis filled the air last Thursday evening as the majority of the village arrived all dressed in brightly flowered clothes ready for an evening of entertainment and a delicious feast .
Hawaiian was the theme of our Directors Dinner and much of the party was held out and around our beautifuil and newly completed swimming pool.
It was great to see the gents getting into the theme and “Dressing Up” - Bob made his grand entrance dressed in a grass skirt & fabulous shirt (he even popped a little flower in his hair).
We enjoyed the lovely voice of Leanne Wittwer who sang a great variety of songs for us to dance the night away (a couple of the ladies thought themselves lucky after stealing a dance with Mark Bindon).
Melissa’s family recipe was a huge success – we dined on Pineapple Baked ham, salads, chicken and topped our feast off with fruit salad and icecream.
As usual it is always such a treat for our residents to spend time with the Direcotors in a casual, fun setting.
