A whale of a good time at Boronia
It was a spectacular trip, so they tell us, upon the return of their three day tour to Harvey Bay.
Oak Tree residents Kura, Joan, Max and Allison joined a tour bus and headed up north for some Whale Watching along what is known famously as the Humpback Highway.
Stopping to picnic in Marybourgh and Gympie the travellers enjoyed a leisurly drive up before arriving at their final destination and to meet the gentle giants of the deep.
Showing off as they usually do, the whales where just as curiours about the "tourists" as the "tourists" were about the star attractions.
A wonderful time was had by all, topped off by the perfect weather. We are sure this wont be the last of the Whale Watching in our village with many making plans to go next year already.
